000103651 520__ $$aCancer mortality rates in the United States are higher in rural than urban areas. Collaborative networks for cancer prevention and control and uses of network findings in rural areas are not well understood. We surveyed health agencies in five service areas in rural Missouri and Illinois from September through December 2020, asking about contact, collaborative activities, and referrals between agencies. Network datasets were constructed for each relationship within each service area. Service areas ranged from 24-42 agencies. Interactive network applications were provided to agency staff, who used them for planning and reporting.
