Description
Abstract: The dataset contains impervious surface features for the city of St. Louis and some portions of St. Louis County around Washington University. Some examples of impervious surfaces in the dataset include: roads, parking lots, buildings, sidewalks, concrete pads, airport taxiways, athletic surfaces, and swimming pools.
The source data to be used for feature extraction is the new 2024 STL Regional Imagery Consortium data.
As of 2025-08-28 the dataset covers the Washington University campus and the northern portion of St. Louis City. It will be periodically updated and should be complete in 2027.
